Service
Comprehensive Consultancy Service, long-lasting Experience, innovative Know-how
An experienced team of expert engineers, with backgrounds in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and foundry engineering, ensure a hands-on consultancy service. What distinguishes our engineers is their long years of experience coupled with the aspiration to resolve even the most complex technical challenges. They are part of, and help to shape future developments through their participation in the DIN Standards Committee for Windows, the ISO Working Group (WG) for Yacht Windows and Doors, and in other professional committees concerned with castings. We have close working relationships with Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LRS) as well as the TÜV. Our in-house design department ensures competence and expertise at first hand.
Project Management
Supplying windows for Megayachts is a complex business with concomitant risks. In the course of a yacht project there are many interfaces and technical interdependencies, both on the shipyard side, as well as the participating sub-contractors. The same applies to ready-to-install cast components, where we work in close collaboration with the client’s technical experts, model construction, and the suppliers of materials. The whole process must be underpinned by rigorous and careful controls from casting the prototype to the ready-to-install small batch castings.
That is why we have developed a project management process where checklists and action lists form part of each key phase of a project. Equally important, the involvement and training of our departments and staff contribute to the success of a project.
